Theresia Muli is a native of Kenya and came to the United States over 30 years ago. She has been working with children for over 20 years and has a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Boise State University and a BA in Child Development and Education from the University of Wyoming. She has taught at FCF HeadStart and was the director of Hillview Preschool and The Growing Place Child Development Center. She opened Born to Succeed in 2008; fulfilling her dream of owning a Child Care Center. She lives in Boise with her husband and together they have four children. She has always had a passion for children and family and centers Born to Succeed around those. She has been given multiple honors and awards, including the 2008 Boise’s Women of the Year award and an honoree of the Women’s and Children’s Annual tribute to Women and Industry Luncheon, and received the Idaho AEYC Stick Your Neck Out for Idaho.
